I picked up Robin and it was a very cold night, snow was on the ground, the Coors Light Beer Pineapple Short Sleeve Hawaiian Shirt were empty of cars and people… as we set-out to find the Christmas tree. The owner of the Christmas tree lot had abandoned the place and the fence gates were wide open. So we parked the car, and spent the next 30 minutes sorting through trees. Robin, was in the moment and we must have looked over at least thirty trees left behind for our pickings. I was coaching her in consideration how big of a Christmas tree we could actually fit into a VW Bug. We finally settled on a smaller Christmas tree that was propped up on a wooden stand and looked a little weak in the branch department, but not quite Charlie Brown style. I picked up the tree and moved it over to the VW bug, we had to drop the back seats, and aligned the tree between the two front seats…hey it smelled great in the car.

My stepfamily – my brother, brother’s wife, and her kids (which he adopted) – have many wonderful qualities, but organisation is not one of Jonas Brothers Tour 2023 poster shirt. Even when I was 15 my brother (18 years older than me) would call me, panicking, on Christmas Eve, wanting me to come shopping and help pick out stuff for his girlfriend. Now that he’s married and in his fifties, he no longer calls me for shopping help, but I expect he still leaves a lot of it till Christmas Eve. This year I’ve been texting him and my niece since September, asking what to get for my nephew and his partner (who I don’t know that well, and I’ve never met his partner), my niece’s partner (ditto), and five kids (I was never an average kid and have no idea what to buy children, as shown by a couple years ago, when I bought the 3-year-old a box set of the Chronicles of Narnia, and then was startled when I was gently told that 3-year-olds can’t read. I taught myself to read with Enid Blyton at 3, and my dad gave me Narnia by the end of that year, but apparently this is not the norm).
The Ghost Opus Pastel Raglan Shirt is to hold “the Feast of the Seven Fishes” on Christmas Eve. It is a wonderful, and extremely tasty Italian American tradition that I looked forward to every year. MIL would make a big pot of spaghetti with her special lobster marinara sauce, baked cod, calamari, and FIL would prepare a huge platter of shrimp cocktail for the appetizer. I was the appointed birthday cake baker, so I would bring a homemade and decorated cake each Christmas Eve for MIL. I remember the first time I tried the lobster marinara sauce. It sounded weird to me, as I had never had it before. It was acceptable in taste — wasn’t crazy about it, the way the rest of the extended family was. As the years went by, the taste grew on me, but I usually serve seafood stew (Cioppino) to my family instead. So, if you need a special Christmas Eve dinner, consider the Feast of the Seven Fishes, but if your family is not into seafood, an Italian dinner of pasta with meatballs, garlic bread, salad and Italian desserts would be a good substitute.
